Fitness can be intimidating and doing a class with a group of strangers more so! However at The Muscle Marys, we feel that exercise is for everybody and have worked hard to create an environment that is safe and welcoming to all our Mary's.
Our trainers are all NVQ qualified, creating challenging fun classes to make you break a sweat, feeling energised and rewarded. aIf you need assistance with nutritional plans, body confidence and further coaching speak to one of our trainers after class for more details.
If it is your first time, fear not! We want to give you a full on Muscle Mary experience and shall welcome you along to one of our LGBT group fitness classes in London for free, so you get a taste of how the classes work.
Weekly timetable all at Hybrid Fitness
The sassiest bootcamp you will ever find, they say never do leg day alone and they are right. This 45 min class focuses on the lower body that will give your extra junk in your trunk!
Workout with Pride
Functional training improves your body’s ability to work efficiently as one unit. Our Workout With Pride class will take you through many exercises that use all planes of movement, creating resistance from body weight and a variety of equipment such as trx, kettlebells, landmines.
Stronger Fitter Prouder
The Muscle Marys Strength and Conditioning class is designed to develop and improve physical performance, through big compound strength moves (multi joint i.e. deadlifts squats etc…). The class will also focus on Plyometrics, speed, agility, endurance!
Each week we run several class types at our Hybrid Fitness location, which is a short stroll from Tower Hill, Aldgate and Aldgate East stations.
With more than 7 years in the fitness industry, Mark is the perfect instructor for The Muscle Marys’ group PT sessions. He has Active IQ Level 3 in Personal Training, Active IQ levels in Gym Instructing, Group Cycling and Circuit training. Additionally, Mark is a Les Mills Grit teacher and an Asa Swimming teacher level 2.
Mark brings a tough, hard-working and result-driven focus and balances this perfectly with a warm, supportive and motivating (sassy) style. He makes sure that you hit all your targets, learn the fundamental do’s and don’ts of exercise and fitness. Furthermore, Mark ensures you enjoy being active and feel fab about leading a healthier lifestyle in general.
After a class you are welcome to join in the social aspect were we descend on a local restaurant for a bite to eat or even a rewarding drink or two… you’ve burnt those calories after all.
